GLS03BS reliably detects knots and defects in extremely thin threads or wires even at high spooling speeds. In fast spooling processes which require despite a high forward speed an online monitoring of the quality of the handles threads or wires e.g. in respect of knot, splicings or other geometrical defects usual single beam optosensors typically fail.
