Adding to its ‘plug & go’ range, a range of medical and ITE plug-top power supplies have been announced by Stadium Stontronics. The products meet the latest no-load power and average efficiency requirements for both Level VI and CoC Ver 5 tier 2. The range consists of 6, 18 and 24W with 5, 9 and 12VDC output models available as standard with other custom voltages between 4.2-52VDC available on request.

Stadium Group has been awarded a substantial new supply contract by Trak Global. This contract, worth £5 million, builds on the existing partnership between the two companies and will see Stadium continue to produce Trak Global's Usage-Based Insurance (UBI) units, which are fitted to vehicles to monitor individual driving styles.

Following the acquisition of Stontronics by Stadium Group, the company has announced that its franchised product distribution business will be transferred from Stadium Power to Stontronics.

As well as introducing the latest additions to their LED driver collection and showcasing their custom LED strip solutions for OEMs, Stontronics will be making their first appearance as part of Stadium Group since they were acquired in August.

Stadium Group has agreed to acquire Stontronics, a manufacturer and distributor of power supply units, transformers and adaptors, for £6.5m. Stontronics power products business will strengthen Stadium’s existing business and the deal fits with Stadium’s strategy of making targeted, complementary acquisitions which strengthen its technology offering, as well as providing synergies and cross-selling opportunities.

Stadium Group has announced that its iEMS division continues to invest significantly in key equipment to bolster manufacturing capabilities at its centres in Dongguan, China and Hartlepool, UK. The investments made in 2014 include an SMT assembly line installed at the Hartlepool facility, along with equipment from DEK (Screen Print), Assembleon (AX range of Pick and Place) and Vitronics Soltec (Reflow) to compliment existing SMT capability.
