The high performance PV units were branded as Multi-Contact before the company's change of name earlier this year. More than one billion photovoltaic connectors in the MC4 family have been installed worldwide over the past 20 years, often operating in the harshest of environments.

  A dedicated protective grounding module is now available for the versatile CombiTac connector system. The new module is suitable for the system's conductive DIN housings and protects users against electric shock in accordance with the IEC 61140 standard.
