Softing Automotive is presenting the new Smart Vehicle Interface "Softing SVI", a high-performance solution for modern ECU programming with continuous data supply.

The Docker-based software modules of Softing's edgeConnector product family provide access to process data in SIMATIC S7, SINUMERIK 840D, and Modbus TCP controllers.

Now commercially available is the Softing gateway dataFEED uaGate MB, which enables easy and secure integration of process- and machine data coming from Modbus PLCs with IoT- and Industry 4.0 solutions. Softing's new dataFEED uaGate MB is a gateway for communication between Modbus PLCs in industrial automation networks and IT applications.

The OPC Development Toolkits from Softing are now listed in Rockwell Automation's encompass partner programme. Rockwell Automation has included Softing's toolkits for integrating OPC Classic and OPC UA in automation applications into its Encompass Partner Programme. The programme encompasses products from partner companies that strengthen Rockwell Automation's own portfolio and support the company’s product development capabilities.

It has been announced that Softing Industrial’s echocollect gateway now supports the MQTT protocol, making the integration of process data from system and machinery into cloud solutions more straightforward and reliable. Softing Industrial will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe, April 24th-28th 2017, in hall 8, stand E20.

The dataFEED uaGate SI gateway from Softing Industrial now also supports the MQTT protocol in addition to OPC-UA, enabling easy and reliable integration of Siemens S7 data into cloud solutions. Thanks to the MQTT protocol's publisher functionality in the new 1.30 firmware version of its dataFEED uaGate SI, Softing is closing the gap between automation and IT.

Now including a MQTT connector, the new version of Softing's dataFEED OPC Suite, makes transfer of data to IoT Clouds simple and secure. With Softing´s dataFEED OPC Suite, a secure IoT cloud data application can now be easily implemented. The new MQTT Connector enables the integration of automation devices via MQTT publisher functionality in IoT cloud applications, e.g. IBM Bluemix Cloud.
