Skyworks Solutions is introducing an isolated gate driver reference design that operates with Wolfspeed’s silicon carbide (SiC) field effect transistor (FET) power modules.

Skyworks Solutions has announced the launch of its portfolio of network synchronisation solutions, including the Si551x and Si540x families of NetSync clock integrated circuit devices and Skyworks’ AccuTime IEEE 1588 software.

Skyworks is pleased to introduce the SKYFR-001982, a small form factor surface mount circulator for L-Band radar systems and wireless applications in the 1,200 to 1,400MHz operating range.  This device offers high power level handling with minimal thermal rise, providing a flow path for the RF signal as well as protection for sensitive components from excess signal reflection.

Through Skyworks’ SKY66430-11, the company is powering new devices in the rapidly emerging 5G Massive IoT (Internet of Things) market. SKY66430-11 is the world's smallest, fully pre-certified all-in-one system-in-package (SiP) incorporating cellular modem, transceiver, RF front-end, memory and power management functionality, enabling LTE-M and NB-IoT connected devices. 

Skyworks has introduced a high linearity, low-threshold, dual PIN limiter diode module that addresses the growing need for receiver protection in cellular infrastructure (including 5G) and microwave radio communications. The SKY16603-632LF is a fully integrated module comprised of two PIN limiter diodes and two DC blocking caps designed for use as a passive receiver protector in wireless systems up to 6GHz. 

To meet the challenging requirements of cellular LTE and 5G NR infrastructure applications, Skyworks has released the SKY67183-396LF and SKY67189-396LF low noise amplifiers (LNAs).

Skyworks Solutions has announced that its advanced connectivity engines are being leveraged by Nordic Semiconductor for ultra-low power wireless communications. This fully-integrated module features a logarithmic power detector supporting wide dynamic ranges and low power consumption, enabling improved thermal management.
