Signify has launched a new range of LiFi systems that includes a commercially available fast and reliable LiFi system. The range, branded Trulifi, leverages existing and future professional luminaires. Instead of using radio signals Trulifi uses light waves to enable highly reliable, secure two-way wireless communications at speeds far above most conventional workplace wireless technologies.
Africa Cup of Nations 2019 lit up with new luminaires
Tomorrow is the kick-off of the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 with the opening match at Cairo International stadium. Signify is providing the lighting to the stadium and four other stadiums that welcome the biennial international men's football championship of Africa. The tournament is hosted by Egypt and is held from June 21st to July 19th, 2019.
Goals to capture growth in agricultural lighting
A specialist in lighting, Signify, has expanded its business for agricultural lighting by acquiring Once, based in Plymouth, Minnesota, and iLox, based in Vechta, Germany. Once and iLox work in the design and manufacturing of animal-centric lighting.
