Autoclavable mass flow meters in the spotlight at COMPAMED
Sensirion will be exhibiting at the COMPAMED 2015 trade fair, presenting its autoclavable mass flow meters, the SFM3200-AW and the SFM3300-AW, for the first time. The autoclavable and washable sensors boast high precision and robustness. They are suitable for measuring respiratory flows in medical applications such as artificial ventilation or anesthesia.
Medical sensing solutions showcased at Compamed 2015
At this year's COMPAMED trade fair, Sensirion will present its latest enhanced sensor solutions for measuring humidity and temperature, gas flow, liquid flow and differential pressure. The company will introduce two mass flow meters: the SFM3200-AW and SFM3300-AW. Both products are suitable for repeated, inter-patient use thanks to their multi-cycle, autoclavable and washable properties which allow them to be sterilised.
Meters feature precise gas identification & compensation algorithm
A comprehensive study recently published by Germany's Gas- & Wärme-Institute (GWI) confirmed the practical functionality of Sensirion's technology. The company's microthermal gas meter modules are equipped with integrated gas recognition. The compensation software guarantees precise flow measurement despite the differing qualities of natural gas. Independently of pressure and temperature, the mass flow meters provide reliable measurement...
Microthermal modules enable real-time gas flow monitoring
Sensirion has announced two new versions of the SGM70xx mass flow meter modules for G4 and G6 gas meters. These microthermal gas meter modules enable real-time gas flow monitoring and come with the additional advantages of high-level reliability and long-term stability. Onboard software in the mass flow meters guarantees precise gas quality compensation.
Liquid flow sensor features a typical response time of 20ms
A liquid flow sensor, which delivers fast and precise measurements for flow rates of 0 to 40ml/min, has been released by Sensirion. Offered in a robust housing, the SLS-1500 provides a versatile sensor solution for applications in demanding industrial environments and laboratory settings. The company’s modular approach of combining the sensor and interface cable ensures an optimum match with rapid results and makes the integration of a flow...
Small, accurate gas & pressure sensors on show at MWC
From Hall 5, Booth 5D70 at the 2015 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Sensirion will present a multi-pixel gas sensor, plus a barometric pressure sensor, both of which rank among the smallest yet most accurate in their class worldwide. The sensors are capable of measuring Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), the gases in a person’s breath and barometric air pressure, as required for indoor navigation applications.
Sensirion & GoldCard develop intelligent gas meter for China
Sensirion has partnered with GoldCard, a leading manufacturer of gas meters in China, to develop an intelligent gas meter for residential and industrial application in the Chinese market. By adapting Sensirion’s SGM70xx mass flow metering module to the conditions and standards of the Chinese market, the companies will develop a microthermal gas meter.
Two-piece liquid flow sensor offers low-cost performance
At this year's MD&M West trade fair, Sensirion will present its range of sensors for measuring gas, liquid flow and differential pressure. With the goal of separating the core sensing element from other complex electronics, Sensirion has developed a two-piece, click-in redesign of the disposable liquid flow sensor LD20-2000T, which improves cost-efficiency while retaining performance on a compact footprint.
Calibrated sensors enhance boiler efficiency
Sensirion has extended its expertise in the smart energy market to make gas boilers more comfortable and environmentally sound.
