Sener to design for ESA’s TRUTHS mission

Optical corrector for WEAVE multi-object spectrograph

The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) and the Isaac Newton Group of Telescopes (ING) have accepted delivery from SENER Aeroespacial of the Prime Focus Corrector (PFC) optical corrector for the WEAVE Multi-object spectrograph of the William Herschel Telescope (WHT), located on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands, Spain).

SEOSAT/INGENIO satellite begins its journey to Kourou

The Spanish optical Earth observation satellite SEOSAT/INGENIO will begin its journey from Torrejón air base in Madrid (Spain) to Kourou, for a launch on a Vega rocket. SEOSAT, acronym for Spanish Earth Observation Satellite, is a high-resolution optical satellite devoted to civil use, to be placed in orbit at an altitude of 670km with a launch scheduled on 18th November, 2020.

Comprehensive radio frequency communication systems

For the first time, the engineering and technology group SENER will attend the 2018 European Microwave Week, held at the Madrid Trade Fair Center (IFEMA), 23rd-28th September. SENER, which recently acquired TRYO Aerospace & Electronics, will have a single stand to present their capabilities in comprehensive radio frequency communication systems.
