16-bit MCUs optimised for rechargeable NiMH applications
Optimised for compact, battery-driven industrial equipment in noisy environments, the ML620130 family of 16-bit low power MCUs has been announced by LAPIS Semiconductor, a member of the ROHM group. The MCUs feature superior processing capability with low power consumption and an operating voltage successfully reduced from 1.8 to 1.6V.
Anti-sulfuration resistors contribute to long-term reliability
The availability of anti-sulfuration chip resistors have been announced by ROHM, they are optimised for applications exposed to sulfur-rich environments such as communication infrastructure, automotive systems and industrial equipment. Sulfur particles are generally present in the air in various forms due to sulfur and automotive exhaust gases.

ROHM Semiconductor has introduced an SiC power module rated at 1,200V/180A based on the company’s completely inhouse supply chain capacities and advanced packaging capabilities. The BSM180D12P3C007 half-bridge SiC module integrates mass-produced trench-type SiC MOSFETs and SiC SBDs in the same footprint as previous modules.
