MWC Barcelona: Rohde & Schwarz
At MWC Barcelona 2022 Rohde & Schwarz is showcasing its range of automotive 5G and C-V2X test solutions for development in the lab and verification in the field to ensure the performance and reliability of critical automotive communications.
Rohde & Schwarz strengthens cybersecurity position
Rohde & Schwarz which has held a majority interest in LANCOM since November 2016 has taken a 100% stake to consolidate the growth strategy of both companies. LANCOM is a manufacturer of network infrastructure solutions for business and the public sector. It will operate as an independent subsidiary within the group.
DPI engine enhances web security solution
Rohde & Schwarz is supplying its DPI engine R&S PACE 2 to Indigo Software. It will enhance the softare company's web application security solution with protocol and application classification capabilities. R&S PACE 2 now serves as the core for their web application firewalls (WAFs), enabling them to obtain granular visibility of network traffic in order to analyse HTTP requests and responses to detect malicious behaviour.
DPI software to be showcased at RSA Conference
At the RSA Conference in San Francisco, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate DPI software that enables cybersecurity vendors to strengthen their solutions and hold off hackers. Deep packet inspection (DPI) is an asset for modern network security solutions. The technology addresses a wide range of network security challenges including both malware and non-malware threats.
Security software enhanced with Stratum mining protocol
R&S PACE 2 deep packet inspection (DPI) software from Rohde & Schwarz has been enhanced to include Stratum protocol classification capabilities. The DPI engine can now reliably classify and therefore enable network security solutions to blockmalicious mining activities.
Security software centre stage at embedded world 2018
The OEM DPI engine R&S PACE 2 will be showcased by Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity at embedded world 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany (Feb 28-March 1). By implementing R&S PACE 2 in embedded devices, vendors of firewalls, gateways, switches, and routers are able to gain full IP traffic visibility in real time in order to assure security and connectivity across networks, devices, and applications.
DPI Solution enables security of cloud applications
An embedded deep packet inspection (DPI) engine from Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity serves as the core for Barracuda's NextGen firewall F-series. The Barracuda F-series firewall is able to classify network applications up to Layer 7 in real-time, and can granularly control what applications are permitted, prioritized or de-prioritised for access.
Technology solution tightens network security
A technology solution that leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data-based profiling methodologies to fight advanced persistent threats (APTs) has been released by Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and Saint Security, a vendor of network protection solutions.
Detection solution stifles cyber threats in infancy
A fine-grained network threat detection solution has been introduced by joint developers Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and Napatech. It provides detailed data to security information and event management (SIEM) systems and threat intelligence platforms. The solution will be showcased by both companies at Black Hat Europe 2017, (December 4 to 7) at ExCel London.
Software detects Bitcoin transactions in network traffic
The deep packet inspection (DPI) engine R&S PACE 2 from Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity is now providing Bitcoin protocol classification capabilities. The OEM software solution is able to reliably detect and classify the Bitcoin protocol in network traffic in real time.
DPI software enhances network protection
The OEM deep packet inspection software R&S PACE 2 from Rohde & Schwarz CyberSecurity improves the reliability and credibility of network protection solutions. When embedded in a firewall, malicious attacks that bypass common security policies via DNS tunnelling can be identified and prevented.
IoT security platform minimises risk
A joint multi-level IoT platform solution has been announced by Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and Arkessa. The companies say it unlocks the full potential of IoT by enabling secure interactions across digital ecosystems of devices, people and systems. The Internet of Things (IoT) continues to expand rapidly and poses significant network connectivity and security risks.
