"Leading in testing and manufacturing" is the motto under which Rohde & Schwarz will be presenting its comprehensive T&M solutions for development and production and its wide range of production services at this year's productronica trade fair in Munich. Rohde & Schwarz will be showcasing its highlights at Messe München International in hall A1, booth 375.  

As the USB interface remains, by far, the most dominant interface in mobile devices, electronic consumer goods and industrial products, demand for reliable, fast test solutions in development and integration is equally high. The R&S FSW67 from Rohde & Schwarz is a new high-end signal and spectrum analyser with a frequency range up to 67GHz, plus an integrated preamplifier up to 67 GHz and an analysis bandwidth as high as 320MHz. The analyser helps developers perform complex measurement tasks in the microwave range for aerospace & defenc e applications and wireless communications.

Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its new R&S SMW200A high-end vector signal generator by adding the R&S SMW K540 option for envelope tracking. This option enables quick and easy testing of envelope tracking power amplifiers for smartphones, base stations and tactical radios.  

Rohde & Schwarz has added options to its RTO and RTM oscilloscopes covering power analysis and a new differential wideband probe to its portfolio of solutions for clocked power supplies. Developers can automatically perform all major quality analyses and document the measurement results.

Rohde & Schwarz’s BBA150 broadband amplifier is now also available with a frequency range from 2.5GHz to 6GHz. The new frequency range is an addition to the already existing range from 0.8GHz to 3GHz. The amplifiers, which have been optimised for high frequencies, deliver high output power, and are still compact and lightweight.

Rohde & Schwarz is offering its customers a new deal by grouping products from its basic range of precise, reliable and cost-effective instruments under the Value Instruments label. In addition to spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes, the Value Instruments portfolio includes EMC precompliance products as well as power supplies from Rohde & Schwarz and its HAMEG Instruments subsidiary

Rohde & Schwarz's ESR26 EMI test receiver covers the frequency range from 10Hz to 26.5GHz. The instrument performs conducted or radiated measurements in line with commercial standards such as EN, CISPR and FCC as well as military standards. The North American FCC standard and the CISPR standard both specify EMI measurements up to 18GHz

Rohde & Schwarz has released a BTC broadcast test centre, which it says provides a complete testing environment for nearly all audio, video and multimedia applications – in a single device. The RF reference signal generator generates RF signals for all global TV and broadcasting standards and simulates transmissions.

Rohde & Schwarz has developed a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) simulator, which runs on its SMBV100A vector signal generator. The SMBV-K101 option allows developers in the automotive and wireless communications industries to test GNSS receivers for specific effects such as obscuration and multipath propagation.

The new Power Viewer Mobile app from Rohde & Schwarz transforms Android smartphones and tablets into high-precision base units for power measurements. The USB-compatible NRP power sensors can now display the measured average power value directly on mobile devices with Android 4 operating system. The app can be downloaded for free at the Google PlayTM Store.

Manufacturers and test houses can now use the R&S VTC and R&S VTE video testers from Rohde & Schwarz to test next-generation HDMI sink devices with ultra-HD or 4k screen resolution. This is possible thanks to the new R&S VT-B360 HDMI TX 300 MHz HDMI module, which is equipped with four parallel HDMI channels with ultra-HD resolution.

Rhode & Schwarz has launched the mid-range R&S ZNB20 and R&S ZNB40 vector network analysers for frequency ranges from 100 kHz to 20 GHz and from 1 MHz to 40GHz. The analysers are equipped with two test ports and offer measurement characteristics that are on a similar level as high-end instruments.

More dynamic range and measurement speed in the microwave range: The new R&S ZNB20 and R&S ZNB40 network analyzers now offer these features in the midrange price segment as well. Like all models in the R&S ZNB family, their compact hardware platform requires less space than similar instruments.

A new measurement option from Rohde & Schwarz for the R&S FSW high-end signal and spectrum analyser supports real-time signal analysis for frequencies up to 50 GHz with an analysis bandwidth of 160 MHz. It enables the detection of interfering signals to the exact level and without gaps, using a single, fast measuring instrument.

Jitter measurements are important when developing circuits with serial high-speed data interfaces such as USB 2.0 and HDMI. One particular challenge is the signal's embedded clock that is used as a time reference. Rohde & Schwarz has addressed this requirement with new options for its R&S RTO high-performance oscilloscope.

Described as a future proof instrument the Rohde & Schwarz SMW200A high end vector signal generator covers the frequency range from 100kHz to 3Ghz or 6GHz. It features an I/Q modulation bandwidth of 160MHz with internal baseband. It covers all the important communications stanards including WLAN IEEE 802.11ac, and 2x2MIMO, 8x2MIMO for TD-LTE and 2x2MIMO for LTE-A.

Rohde & Schwarz has upgraded its R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer with a new option to include analog baseband inputs covering a bandwidth of 80 MHz for I and Q signals. This makes it the only signal and spectrum analyzer on the market that can analyze signals with up to 160 MHz bandwidth in the baseband.
