Rittal’s new Flex-Block base/plinth system is now available from stock to suit Rittal floor standing enclosures ,TS 8, SE 8 and CM along with floor standing human interface products TP and PC. The Flex-Block plinth is made up of four fibreglass reinforced corner pieces that fix directly to each corner of the enclosure, either to the frame or the base tray.

Rittal’s thermoelectric cooler is a compact cooling solution that utilises Peltier technology to transfer heat away from temperature sensitive equipment. With a width of 125mm, height of 400mm, depth of 155mm and a mass of only 3kg, it is ideally suited to command panels, even those that are supported using arm systems.

A key objective for Rittal when developing Ri4Power modular system was the protection against accidental arcing. Internal arcing could lead to production downtime but more importantly is a danger to personnel. Rittal carried out extensive testing to ensure that the Ri4Power complied with the stringent IEC 61641 standard.

Following comprehensive testing Rittal are pleased to announce that their modular Ri4Power system now complies with the latest IEC 61439-2 standards. The termination of cables to switchgear and meeting the form 4b requirement of IEC 61439-2 now enables installation engineers to reduce time and costs on site. Rittal’s RPE software is available for customers to build Ri4Power to the IEC 61439-2 standard.

Air-to-air heat exchangers provide a simple, stand-alone, low maintenance and energy efficient means of cooling electrical enclosures. Rittal’s new SE 8 is a one piece monobloc, single construction floor standing enclosure, with an integrated TS 8 frame. A direct replacement for Rittal’s ES 5000 freestanding monobloc enclosure, the SE 8 has a removable rear panel which is secured from the inside and shares many design features with Rittal’s TS 8 bayable enclosure.

Rittal’s CS Toptec range of outdoor enclosures, centred around a stainless steel TS 8 form frame, can be stripped down to the frame to enable maximum access during equipment installation. When complete, the housing is rated to IP55. Space between panels is minimised to prevent use of tools to gain access and hinges, on both front and rear doors, are also hidden from view.
