2W DC/DC converters designed to power SiC MOSFETs

To meet the tough requirements of next-gen MOSFETs, RECOM has introduced two 2W DC/DC converter series designed to power SiC MOSFETs. One of the challenges of driving SiC MOSFETs is the high frequency and high voltage at which they are switched. High potentials between the control and power side of a SiC MOSFET application can wear down isolation barriers, eventually causing them to fail.

Seminars cover EMC-compliant design

Compliance with the EMC Directive has, in many cases, come to be a critical factor in certifying new electronics products. When EMC considerations are not taken into consideration at the outset in PSU-related positioning and cable routing, EMC issues will almost certainly arise in the final product, leading to costly redesign work and a delayed product launch. RECOM focuses on this important issue in a series of seminars oriented towards real-lif...
