Targeting mission-critical industrial and military power system designs, the PF1350 and PF1351 AC frequency converter power supplies have been announced by Powerstax. These compact, power factor-corrected bench-top units offer an excellent combination of performance, flexibility and cost effectiveness.

Benefiting from added technical expertise following their aquisition of Drake Power, Powerstax have announced additional offerings to their transformer rectifier portfolio. The Powerstax transformer rectifiers support conversion efficiencies reaching 96% and typical power factors of 0.85, or as much as 0.99 if extensive power factor correction is applied.    

Powerstax have today launched the Flexistax D1001 DC-DC converter module, based on the company’s proprietary, field proven F501 brick technology. For use in next-generation vehicles, the 1000W rated module is capable of supporting typical system efficiency levels of 86%. 

Powerstax plc announces the release of the MC1U series. Offered in 400W (MC1U-6A), 700W (MC1U-6B) and 1000W (MC1U-6C) versions, supporting a 47Hz to 440Hz input frequency range, these PSUs provide design engineers with a plug and play solution that can easily be adapted to meet their exact functional specifications - with the output voltage adjusted as required using an integrated multi-turn potentiometer.  

Powerstax announce a new series of DC-DC converter power modules. The FC series are specifically aimed at fuel cell power generation. The modules in the FC series accept 50V to 120V input direct from many popular fuel cells and deliver a stabilised output of up to 500W. Power efficiency levels are up to 91%.

Powerstax introduces the FAC series of baseplate-cooled power modules with a ultra-slim ½U height form factor. Featuring power factor correction, these compact (2.2cm x 17.5cm x 18.0cm) units can deliver a 500W output from an 85VAC to 264VAC input. They are offered in 12VDC, 15VDC, 24VDC, 28VDC and 48VDC output options, with custom voltages available.

The Unistax range of power supplies from Powerstax offer high levels of ruggedness and is designed for use in stringent industrial applications. Available with single and three phase inputs Unistax power supplies offer output voltages up to 200V and output power up to 10kW. To simplify system integration there are multiple mechanical options available including chassis and 19” rack mount versions.

New additions to the Powerstax Multistax and Medistax low profile configurable power supply ranges offer low acoustic noise power solutions for audio, broadcast, office and home applications and patient monitoring and medical equipment where ambient noise is required to be kept to a minimum.
