Designed for Few Mode Fiber multiplexing / demultiplexing in SDM applications, a 3 and 6 fibre Photonics Lantern has been launched by Phoenix Photonics. The all-fibre component gives good mode dependant loss and insertion loss comparable to competing technologies.

Phoenix Photonics will unveil the Polarimeter as part of its expanded Firebird instrumentation range at the OFC 2014 exhibition in San Francisco (March 9-13). The Phoenix In-Line Fiber Polarimeter complements the popular FireBird range allowing for measurement of SOP changes. The instrument provides for minimally invasive polarisation analysis in fiber systems.

Phoenix Photonics will launch a new range of fiber spatial mode control components, complementing its polarization mode control range, later this month at OFC (19 - 21 March, Anaheim Convention Center, CA, Booth #1710). Phoenix will showcase mode converters for Few Moded Fibers and Photonic Lantern technology for SDM (Space Division Multiplexing).

Phoenix Photonics has today unveiled two new products as part of its expanded Firebird instrumentation range at the ECOC exhibition, Amsterdam, 17-19 September (Stand number 614). ECOC marks the global launch of a programmable polarization control instrument and an associated polarization controller microprocessor interface.

Phoenix Photonics will next week show for the first time its new 2 micron fiber couplers as it expands its product range across longer wavelengths. Phoenix Photonics will be exhibiting at Photonics West from the 24 – 26 January in the UK Pavilion, booth #4109, for the first time this year.

Phoenix Photonics will unveil a new multi-channel polarization controller at this month’s flagship ECOC exhibition in Geneva which will give its customers a “plug and play” capability as they look to manage polarization issues in up to four independent channels simultaneously.
