Barometric sensors for battery operated mobile devices

Two MEMS-based barometric pressure sensors from Omron Electronic Components Europe have been specifically designed to support height and pressure measurement in drones, smartphones, pedometers and other battery powered mobile systems. The Omron 2SMPB-02B and 2SMPB-02E sensors provide stable and reliable height and pressure measurements, allowing changes in elevation to be reliably recorded.

Multi-function environmental sensor supports the IoT

Accurate temperature measurement based on MEMS tech

Omron Electronic Components has extended its non-contact MEMS thermal sensor range with a new narrow-field version specifically designed to provide accurate non-contact measurements of an objects’ surface temperature for industrial control, medical and building automation systems. World's smallest MOSFET capable of handling 1.5A

Omron Electronic Components Europe has launched what it believes to be the world’s smallest MOSFET relay that has a footprint of 2.9mm2 but is capable of handling 1.5A. Created to help designers of test and communications equipment and other applications achieve the minimum possible PCB size, the G3VM-31QR MOSFET relay is 17% smaller than alternative devices.

Compact power relay is capable of switching 5A at 250VAC

Omron Electronics has unveiled a compact, efficient power relay, capable of switching 5A at 250VAC for industrial control and building automation applications. According to Omron, the G6DN is not only the smallest design of its specification on the market, but also offers the lowest coil power consumption – just 110mW. This makes it extremely efficient, as it requires only a minimal amount of energy to switch the relay.
