It has been announced that OKW has unveiled a new embedded systems version of its sophisticated SMART-TERMINAL enclosures, designed to be used in numerous applications.

OKW’s EVOTEC designer table-top electronic enclosures are now available in a smaller 100 size – increasing the range to four plan sizes. Ergonomic EVOTEC is comfortable to use – but tough enough for challenging working environments. Applications include measurement and control engineering, IT, medical, laboratory and environmental technology. It can also be wall mounted for access control.

OKW has added optional side bags to its CARRYTEC portable instrument enclosures – making sensors, probes and scanners readily available on the move. CARRYTEC enclosures are suitable for a wide range of applications including medical and wellness, communications, data recording, agriculture and forest management. The zip-opening side bags are available as accessories in left- and right-hand configurations.

ROLEC’s polyTOP glass-fibre reinforced polyester enclosures are now available in 13 standard sizes. These smart IP 66 enclosures are suitable for a wide range of electronics applications in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. Their halogen-free GRP construction makes them highly resistant to chemicals. ROLEC has designed polyTOP to be size compatible with its aluNORM range of diecast aluminium enclosures.

OKW has launched SMART-TERMINAL – a brand new range of sophisticated extruded aluminium and plastic enclosures for control electronics. SMART-TERMINAL is only the second OKW range to combine aluminium extrusions with plastic. It is designed for applications including peripheral and interface equipment, communications, safety engineering, biometrics, medical and laboratory technology, healthcare, measurement and control engineering.

OKW has added a new size M and two stations to its BODY-CASE range of fully wearable enclosures. Smart and comfortable BODY-CASE is designed for a wide range of wearable electronics applications including tracking and monitoring; emergency call and notification; bio-feedback sensors for healthcare, wellness and sports fitness. It can also be used for industrial electronics.

With the introduction of two new sizes – size S (123x48x24mm) and size M (147x56x27mm), OKW has extended its STYLE-CASE range of high-gloss handheld enclosures. These complement the existing size L (166x64x31mm) models. STYLE-CASE is suitable for remote controls, notably in medical and social care but also in many household, office and industrial electronics applications.
