Nordson ASYMTEK and Parker Chomerics are partnering at SEMICON West (July 12-14) to demonstrate precision, high-volume spray applications for EMI coating solutions. One specific solution uses Nordson ASYMTEK's Select Coat Conformal Coating System with a DispenseJet applicator to apply thin coatings of Parker Chomerics' new CHO-SHIELD-604 conductive coating to achieve a target thickness of 25 µm.

Nordson ASYMTEK is to present a triple-valve, closed-loop system to jet conformal coating, a UV oven to cure it, and an automated coating inspection system to verify the coating results in the SmartTec stand at SMT Hybrid Packaging.

Nordson ASYMTEK will introduce its new generation of conformal coating, fluid dispensing, jetting, software, and hot bar soldering systems, capabilities, and applications at IPC APEX 2016. The systems deliver precision, flexibility, reliability, high throughput, ease-of-cleaning, and intuitive programming and operation with a low cost-of-ownership.

Nordson DIMA will demonstrate its hot bar soldering and heat seal bonding equipment at IPC APEX EXPO 2016, in the booth of sister company, Nordson ASYMTEK. Show visitors can learn best practices in hot bar soldering and heat seal bonding processes and find solutions to their challenging assembly applications, like flex-to-flex, flex-to-PCB, and wire-to-PCB assembly, as well as rework. 

Nordson ASYMTEK has won the 2015 Global Technology Award in the dispensing category for its Programmable Tilt + Rotate 5-Axis Fluid Dispenser. The award was presented at the recent productronica trade fair in Munich.

 Nordson ASYMTEK has introduced the Spectrum II Premier with the IntelliJet jetting system for dispensing small dot sizes at high frequencies without compromising the precision, high yield and long-term reliability needed for advanced packaging applications.

Nordson ASYMTEK introduces the NexJet NJ-8 system, which improves and simplifies the dispensing process for fast-paced production environments where precision, flexibility, and long-term reliability are important. The NJ-8's ReadiSet two piece jet cartridge is quickly and easily removed, cleaned, inspected and re-installed without tools, maximising equipment utilisation and up-time.

  The Programmable Tilt + Rotate 5-Axis Fluid Dispenser, which dispenses fluid using five axes of automated control instead of only three, has been released by Nordson ASYMTEK.

Nordson ASYMTEK has announced the sale of two Spectrum II S2-922 in-line dispensing systems to GN ReSound, one of the world's largest manufacturers of hearing healthcare solutions. GN ReSound presently has an installed base of off-line Nordson ASYMTEK coating systems and Axiom X-1000 dispensers. The Spectrum II systems are being used as part of automated manufacturing production lines to apply underfill in the manufacture of hearing aids.

Nordson ASYMTEK will present live demonstrations of jetting, fluid dispensing and conformal coating at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2015. Nordson ASYMTEK will also demonstrate its award-winning Quantum Q-6800dispenser applying underfill on the Future Packaging Line Stand, 6-434A.

Nordson ASYMTEK has announced that it will partner with Kintner Equipment to conduct workshops on PCB manufacturing processes from 21st to 23rd April 2015, at the Kintner facility in New York. The free workshop is designed to present to manufacturing, process and quality engineers, ways to identify and resolve process-related issues, eliminate production bottlenecks and optimise production-line yields to improve profitability.

A Nordson ASYMTEK Select Coat SL-940E selective conformal coating has been sold by its distributor, the Amtest Group to APRI in the Czech Republic, to automate its conformal coating process. The system has enabled APRI to increase capacity, improve repeatability, and ensure a more uniform and accurately applied conformal coating process.

The FX-940 AOI In-line PCB inspection system, from Nordson YESTECH, will make its debut at SMTA International 2014. Scheduled to take place between September 30th and October 1st, 2014 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, visitors can find the system on display in Booth #606.

Nordson ASYMTEK has appointed Mr. Chris Marion as the new Director of Marketing and Applications Technology. He will manage all global marketing activities, including a newly expanded marketing group consisting of product management, marketing communications, market and business analysis, market management and training development in addition to the applications technology group.

At IPC APEX 2014, March 25-27, 2014 in Las Vegas, USA, Nordson ASYMTEK will be exhibiting new jetting, dispensing and conformal coating systems. SMT adhesive dot jetting with dual action will be demonstrated on Nordson ASYMTEK's latest system, the Quantum Series high-performance large-format dispenser.

Suitable for SMT, PCB packaging and microelectronics assembly applications, the Quantum Q-6800 has been announced by Nordson ASYMTEK. The high-performance, large-format dispensing system has a 423x458mm dispense area which is large enough to handle various substrate sizes and dual valve configurations.

Nordson ASYMTEK has manufactured a Continuous Path Motion Control software for jetting underfill for flip chips. The software optimizes dispense head motion,saving time and increasing units per hour. Instead of stopping to move between die, backtracking, ramping to speed, dispensing, and decelerating, the dispense head maintains a continuous speed and direction throughout the process

Nordson ASYMTEK will demonstrate its SelectCoat SL-940E conformal coating system with dual applicators as well as a surface mount adhesive dispensing platform at SMT Hybrid Packaging, Nuremberg, smartTec GmbH stand #7-219. In addition, Nordson ASYMTEK's Spectrum S-920N platform with the new NexJet System with Genius Jet Cartridge will be the focus for next generation jetting in the Future Packaging Line in stand #6-434.
