Petronics Electronica Assemblage, a fast-growing Dutch electronics assembly subcontractor, has added in-house SMT capabilities to its range of services by purchasing a pre-owned MY12 component placement machine from MYDATA.

At APEX 2013 in San Diego, MYDATA released new models of its popular SMD Tower for compact storage of electronics manufacturing components. The new models will allow manufacturers to increase uptime and reduce changeover costs by providing 22% more storage capacity within the same one-meter footprint.

To expand its SMT capabilities in response to sustained growth in demand for its products, Triumph Group has chosen a MYDATA Synergy line with a throughput of up to 21,000 cph. Working in conjunction with the charity Chernobyl Children’s Life Line, MYDATA, one of Europe’s most innovative suppliers of SMT equipment, is sponsoring water sports and swimming activities for children whose lives have been blighted by the aftermath of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The company has made this investment to help it handle the fast rising demand for its services, and to provide headroom for anticipated further growth.
