  Murata has begun mass production of its LMFE3NFB-Jxx series RF sub-modules for WiFi applications. Using proprietary technology, the sub-modules feature a smaller front-end circuit in order to incorporate the WiFi function. 

  Murata has announced the launch of the MYBSP series of miniature surface-mount isolated DC/DC converters designed for driving Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. These regulated devices can be used as a power converter for a range of network devices including wireless access points, network security cameras and IP telephones.

Murata has expanded its OKD series of Digital PoL DC/DC converters by launching the 90A/162W OKDx-T/90 series from Murata Power Solutions. This is the highest current-rated product in the OKD series, which already provides solutions from 6-60A. The OKDx-T/90 series is suited for FPGA and processor applications.

Murata’s DMHA14R5V353M4ATA0 supercapacitor has a low profile design and at 0.4mm thick it is suitable for use in the thinnest devices. Its footprint is 20x20mm. 

A series of three terminal ceramic multilayer capacitors has been introduced by Murata. The NFM18HC are suitable for use in high reliability automobile applications where the main application areas are in preventive safety systems and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Murata and IPDiA announced that Murata Electronics Europe B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Murata is about to acquire IPDiA, a 3D silicon capacitor technology pioneer headquartered in France, and IPDiA will become a subsidiary of Murata.
