Providing advanced USB-based charging capabilities, the new power controllers are intended for designing host devices, such as laptops, tablets, monitors, docking stations and printers. Microchip Technology introduce its third-generation USB3 Controller Hubs - the USB553xB-5000 family, which is SuperSpeed Logo Certified by the USB Implementers Forum and is the world’s first to integrate OTP Flash configuration memory.
