FPGA Burst Mode Receiver creates small form factor

It has been announced by Microchip, through its Microsemi Corporation subsidiary, that it’s first Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for 10G Passive Optical Network (PON) Optical Line Terminal (OLT) implementation in compact form factor has been launched.
