To meet the demand for 60W plug & play style external LED power supplies, Mean Well has released the OWA-60U series of power supplies. The devices are compliant with the UL8750 LISTED safety regulation, making them suitable for LED lighting systems that adopt the standard two-pin US type receptacles and are equipped with power connection ports.

Green adaptors with a low no load power consumption of less than 0.075W have been introduced by Mean Well. The 40W GST40A and the 60W GST60A feature an average operating efficiency which is superior to that of the GS40 and the GS60, allowing the devices to better fulfill energy saving and carbon reduction.

Power supplies which are ready to be soldered onto a PCB have been released by Mean Well. The IRM-45 and IRM-60 devices are rated for 45 and 60W, respectively, and operate from a 85-264VAC input. Mean Well has announced the GST120A series, a green adaptor which complies with up-to-date energy efficiency regulations (EISA 2007/DoE Level VI). GST120A is equipped with a no load power consumption of less than 0.15W and an average operating efficiency which is superior to the company's GS120 model (120W, level V), already released.

  A 90W green adaptor, which complies with the latest energy efficiency regulations (EISA 2007/DoE Level VI), has been introduced by Mean Well. The GST90A, which consumes less than 0.15W in no load mode, is suitable for use with various types of consumer, telecomms and industrial devices. 

Mean Well has announced that its PLM-12/25 PFC constant current mode LED power supplies have garnered outstanding feedback since their release. In order to target demand from areas that only use 230VAC input, Mean Well has modified the input voltage range from 110-295VAC to 180-295VAC for its latest release, the competitively priced PLM-12E/25E series.

Mean Well has announced that its HBG-100/160/240 series of circular LED power supplies has been widely applied to various kinds of the bay lighting applications since it was released to the market. In order to meet demand for lower wattage power supplies, Mean Well has extended output power down to 60W, and is pleased to unveil the HBG-60 series.

Following the success of the NPF-90(D) and PWM-90 series of waterproof LED power supplies, Mean Well has released 40 and 60W versions. Similar to the 90W versions, the NPF-40(D)/60(D) and PWM-40/60 devices feature a pF value of more than 0.9, a setup time of less than 500ms, no load power consumption of less than 0.5W and conform to the EU ErP Directive for LED lighting systems.

Two enclosed AC/DC power supplies have been released by Mean Well. The first, the HSP-300, is a 300W device which is available with outputs of 2.8, 4.2 and 5VDC. The power supply can be directly applied to R.G.B colour mode sign panel applications and next-gen low voltage driver ICs. Measuring 210x81x31mm, the device is both easy and cost-effective to install. 

Mean Well's DRC-40 and DRC-60 series have been widely utilised in the field of security. In order to fulfil high-power demands from the security industry, Mean Well has extended the series' wattage up to 100W and is pleased to unveil the DIN rail security power DRC-100 series.

An AC/DC switching power supply, which has an output power of up to 10KW, has been introduced by MEAN WELL. The RST-10000, which adopts 3-phase AC input, is available with three nominal outputs: 24, 36 or 48VDC. To meet the voltage trimming requirements, users can apply external DC voltage control to adjust the output voltage and current. 

  Mean Well unveils the OWA-90E series 90W AC/DC moistureproof external power supply, addressing the issue of current adaptors' inability to operate in moist outdoor environments.

An economy level family of LED power supplies has been unveiled by MEAN WELL . The LP family is aimed at the entry-level lighting market. For constant current output applications, this family consists of LPLC-18/LPHC-18 (18W), LPC-20 (20W), LPC-35 (35W) and LPC-60 (60W). In order to fulfill the requirements for the higher wattage, the family has been extended up to 150W for the new LPC-150 series.

MEAN WELL's PSC series, targeting security applications, has been adopted by several global manufacturers of security monitoring systems since its release. Apart from the primary output, the supply features one additional charger output with a relatively small current, enabling the DC UPS application with a back-up battery.

  A series of buck-boost type DC/DC constant current LED drivers, featuring 300, 350, 500 and 600mA models, has been released by MEAN WELL. The LDB-L/LW series of potted module type LED drivers operate from a 9 to 36VDC input with a 2-40VDC output range.

MEAN WELL has produced a 5W regulated single output DC-DC converter to meet the increasing demand for system miniaturisation. The SPB05 series is in SIP (single-in-line) package form and adopts the plastic case of the 3W SPB03(0.86inx0.36inx0.44in) to 5W output.

In order to meet demand for power supplies that are reliable in harsh environments, MEAN WELL has introduced es the 600W power supply ~ HEP-600 series, and the charger unit ~ HEP-600C series. These two series employ the latest high efficiency circuit design that the working efficiency is up to 96% for HEP-600 and 95.5% for HEP-600C.

To meet the demand for higher wattage applications, the IRM-30 series of power supplies has been released by MEAN WELL. The 30W power supplies are on board type power supplies suitable for the PCB boards of electronic instruments or industrial automation equipment. To help system designers make the most of the space they have on the PCB, MEAN WELL has designed the power supplies with a low volume.

DIN rail power supplies, suitable for cabinets with a limited width, have been released by MEAN WELL. Measuring 40mm in width, the EDR-120, NDR-120 and EDR-150 can be installed on DIN rail TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15. The power supplies, which succeed the company's EDR-75 and NDR-75 series, are rated at 120W (EDR-120 and NDR-120) and 156W (EDR-150).

To meet the demand for medical power supplies, MEAN WELL has released the GSM40B/60B series of 40W/60W medical adaptors. IEC60601-1 (third edition) certified, the series feature a 2xMOPP design. The adaptors feature a leakage current of less than 50μA, efficiency of up to 91.5% and a no load power consumption less than 0.1W.
