It has been announced that Luso is introducing the PMT2 series, which is the latest series of panel mount power supply from Delta Electronics. This series is currently available in 50W, 100W and 150W output power variants with 12V & 24V output voltage. They offer a wide operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C and can withstand shock and vibration requirements (in accordance to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6 respectively).

It has been announced by N2Power that their XR125 and XR160 families of power supplies have now been qualified to the new EN62368-1 standard. The target date for qualification is December 2020 but customers designing products now need to know that the power solutions they select now will be fully qualified to enable their designs to be future proofed.

It has been announced that Luso has introduced the WAF300 series, which is well suited for high power Rail applications. The range covers input voltages of 18 to 75V in, or 43 to 160VDC with available output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 28 and 48V. Supplied in a compact four by six inch package this versatile unit can be either wall mounted or affixed using a din rail mount.

It has been announced by Luso, that the CoolX1000, a fanless 1,000W modular power supply, has been introduced. Packaged in a compact 6.5x10x1U U-channel design, the CoolX1000 provides up to 1,000W without any requirement for fan or base plate cooling, reportedly eliminating acoustic noise detrimental to scientific and medical applications, as well applications sensitive to vibration or where fan cooling is not available.

It has been announced by Luso that HVM Technology have released the SK Series of miniature single-output, fully regulated DC to DC converters. They supply up to five kilovolts at one watt in an ultra compact package of less than one cubic inch and are suited for various applications, especially those with size constraints.

The XLM500 Family from N2Power is dual certified with the latest versions of UL69050 & UL60601 certificates for use in both information technology equipment (ITE) and medical equipment. As with the XLM240 family these are available in open frame, U-chassis and a fully enclosed unit with fan incorporated. Luso has announced that HVM Technology have released a miniature 15kV Opto-Coupler. The OPTO-150 is a miniature; 15kV rated high voltage opto-coupler which integrates low voltage LED drivers with high voltage photo detector diodes. Typical applications for the OPTO-150 include high voltage switching, high voltage isolation, external voltage sensing, voltage level shifting, and mass spectrometry.

Delta Electronics has expanded its range of medical grade power adaptors by announcing the MEA-250A24C medical AC/DC desktop type adapter. Being suitable for many applications such as patient monitoring and mobile workstations this 24VDC/10.42A output adapter complies with the latest IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition requirements. The MEA-250A24C also has both medical and ITE safety approvals.
