The new Empower 2074 solid-state high-power amplifier from Link Microtek is capable of delivering a power output of 1000W over the frequency range 100-500MHz, making it ideal for jamming signals in military communications wavebands.

The latest innovation from Link Microtek’s Engineering Division is a range of quick-release waveguide couplings that have been specifically designed for rapid installation and are therefore likely to be of particular interest to maintenance personnel in the defence, broadcast and telecommunications sectors.

Link Microtek’s Engineering Division has added waveguide transfer switches to its product range. Offered in both manual and electrically operated versions, the AM-WGS series DPDT-configuration switches are available in rectangular waveguide sizes ranging from WR28 to WR284 and are suitable for applications such as satcom systems, redundancy switching and test and measurement.
