Lime Microsystems and Blue Wonder join to enable early adoption of LTE
Lime Microsystems and Blue Wonder Communications have announced that they are jointly developing a complete LTE reference platform that will enable early adoption of this emerging standard. The fully characterised LTE reference platform will accelerate time to market for OEMs developing LTE systems. The reference platform is based on Lime Microsystems' integrated single chip RF transceiver, the LMS6002, and Blue Wonder's advanced baseband solutio...
Lime Microsystems claims first commercially available advanced wireless multi-band multi-standard RF transceiver IC
Lime Microsystems has announced the availability of LMS6002, a multi-band multi-standard RF transceiver IC designed for femtocells and small cell basestations. The high frequency agile transceiver operates at user-selectable frequencies between 375MHz and 4GHz and is suitable for 3G, WiMAX, and LTE standards. Lime will be demonstrating the LMS6002 transceiver, its first commercially available IC, to selected customers at Mobile World Congress 200...
Lime Microsystems joins ‘FemtoZone’ at Mobile World Congress 2009
Lime Microsystems has announced it will be participating in the FemtoZone at Mobile World Congress 2009. The FemtoZone, which is hosted by the GSMA and the Femto Forum, will serve as a one-stop shop for all visitors interested in learning about the latest developments in the femtocell industry as it undergoes a pivotal year for deployment.
Lime Microsystems achieves first success for single chip multi-standard transceiver
Following the successful launch of its 2-4 GHz MicroTCA transceiver platform at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Lime Microsystems has achieved a single chip multi-band multi-standard reconfigurable transceiver IC. The first test chips back from the foundry have been tested and meet the original requirement for a highly frequency agile transceiver IC, operating from 375MHz to 4GHz. Sending and receiving data has been demonstrated successfully ...
