Kvaser’s smallest embedded board is now available. The Kvaser M.2 PCIe 4xCAN (01333-9) has four distributed controller area network (CAN) transceivers, adding high speed CAN/CAN FD to any host computer with PCI Express connectivity and an available B or M keyed M.2 slot.

Specialist in CAN (Controller Area Network) interfaces and data loggers, has announced the release of a multichannel, programmable Ethernet to CAN/CAN FD interface for DIN Rail mounting. The Kvaser DIN Rail SE400S-X10 has four CAN/CAN FD channels and supports up to four, optional Kvaser DIN Rail SE400S-X10 I/O add-on modules; analog, digital and relay.

Kvaser has released the Kvaser Hybrid Pro 2xCAN/LIN, a flexible, dual-channel interface that allows automotive engineers to configure either channel as CAN, CAN FD (Controller Area Network Flexible Data-rate) or LIN (Local Interconnect Network). The Pro-level device can host user-developed programmes designed to accomplish advanced tasks such as CAN node simulation or the creation of a LIN to CAN gateway.

An upgrade to the original BlackBird CAN to WLAN interface, the BlackBird v2 HS CAN 2.0 to WLAN interface has been unveiled by Kvaser AB. Incorporating a new radio chip that gives it up to 75% better range, the Blackbird v2 can be accessed from any tablet PC or smartphone due to a new REST-based API.
