KEC has expanded its cable assembly and box kitting service.

The KG2 and KG5 ranges of panel and bulkhead fittings have been enhanced to handle individual or combinations of individual and overall screens. Versions of the fittings, from KEC, now incorporate the tube and interwoven braid technique that was originally designed and patented by KEC for use within their KC2000 ranges of EMC connector backshells.

An updated version of the company's popular KC2800, KEC has announced the KCS2800 EMC backshell. It is highly cost-effective and provides high levels of protection of overall and individual screening and a combination of both. This backshell is a standard version using the most common format chosen by customers, resulting in an economy of scale which yields significant price reductions.

KEC, the Aldermaston based EMC interconnect specialist, as a UK partner company to Provertha Connectors, now stocks the Provertha WireClip connector that includes a patented solder aid with a specially produced plastic assembly. Available either as a board-to-board connector or in a board-to-connector version the Provertha WireClip is extremely simple to use.

KEC has announced the availability of the new Provertha I-Net M12 connectors. Reliable and robust with a simple fail-safe connection ideal for field use and fault-free data transmission, these new M12 connectors are perfectly suited for the rail industry and other demanding applications.
