JST, Waukegan, Illinois, has recently introduced a new Sealed Micro USB connector that provides a space saving and low profile interface connection for cellular phone and mobile equipment conforming to Micro-USB standard with a IPX7 sealing rating (water tight for 30min to a depth of 1m).

The XNI Series wire-to-board, 2.5mm (.098”) pitch, crimp style connectors, recently introduced by JST Corporation, Waukegan, Illinois, offer high reliability and provide stable contact performance under high vibration conditions. The headers and housings incorporate polarisation, keying (physical and colour) and secure locking features.

  The latest series of wire-to-board, crimp style disconnectable connectors, claimed to provide optimum performance in high vibration conditions, have been introduced by JST. The PBV connectors are compact with a low profile and a 2.0mm pitch.

Crimp style connectors, which provide a space saving connection for wire-to-board connections that incorporate both power and signal circuits and sequencing for lithium batteries, have been introduced by JST. Measuring 3.0mm in height, the LBT A Type connectors incorporate polarisation and provide a stable contact performance under high vibration. 

The LEK Series of connectors, recently introduced by JST, provide a space saving, low profile connection for LED lighting and reliable contact construction for high density applications. Any misalignment between the horizontal connections between the PCBs is absorbed by the LEK plug and receptacle. The spring contact in the receptacle is designed with a hook that provides a secure locking system.

Suitable for high density applications, the ACHL and ACHF series of wire-to-board connectors have been released by JST. When mated, the SMT connectors provide a secure friction locking feature. Wire-to-board disconnectable connectors, offering a small and reliable contact construction for high density LED light applications, have been released by JST. The LEN series of side entry (right angle) connectors, which are suitable for LED applications, provide insertion guides for easy and secure insertion of the mating LEN housings.

Waterproof wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connectors, claimed to be compact and cost-effective, have been introduced by JST. The JWPS series have a seal ring that protects from moisture, dirt, scratches and cracks by sealing at the mating side in the header or tab housing, making them suitable for extreme moisuture and submersion applications.
