Expanding the company's buck-boost family, Intersil has announced two buck-boost regulators claimed to offer best-in-class efficiency up to 96%. The ISL91127 and ISL91128 feature 4.5A switches and a compact footprint suited for providing system power or powering the peripherals in battery-operated devices.
