VPN routers turn into multi-protocol gateways
The latest version of the icom Data Suite, the software solution of INSYS icom for digitalisation in industrial communication, takes the protocols IEC 60870-5-104/-101 as well as Modbus Slave to the routers of INSYS icom. The professional devices do not only offer a secure connection with this, but allow also cost-optimised solutions as multi-protocol gateways between local applications and cloud or SCADA systems.
Professional router certified for IoT applications
In order to ensure customers get IoT solutions up and running quickly with hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure IoT services, INSYS icom has joined Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT. Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT allows businesses to reach customers where they are, working with an ecosystem of devices and platforms, allowing for faster time to production.
INSYS announce firmware update 2.11
INSYS expands the functional range of its industrial routers through new security features included in the firmware update 2.11. Thereby, INSYS icom is one of the first providers to follow the current recommendations of the German Federal Office for Information Security and the white paper of the German Association of Energy and Water Industries
OpenVPN Access Now Possible Via iOS Devices
End devices featuring openVPN can now also be accessed via Apple smartphones and tablet PCs. INSYS icom demonstrates how simple that is: network devices such as INSYS icom's industrial router MoRoS can be easily and quickly integrated into VPN networks via the internet-based INSYS Connectivity Service.
INSYS modem router family now offers custom programmability
INSYS MICROELECTRONICS’ MoRoS line of industrial routers which combine the functions of a modem, router and 4-port switch in one compact DIN rail housing are now available as new, revised Version 2.1 models.
New industrial router generation with extended features
INSYS MICROELECTRONICS's MoRoS line of industrial routers which combine the functions of a modem, router and 4-port switch in one compact DIN rail housing are now available as new, revised 2.1 models. The PRO functions, such as increased security through VPN and a firewall, are now included in the standard version.
INSYS launches embedded ADSL module for industrial applications
INSYS MICROELECTRONICS announces the new QLM-A100 Quick Line Module, a compact ADSL module with a connector concept suitable for industrial use, enabling batch integration for the first time. Until now electronic system designers, such as manufacturers of display systems, requiring a flexible, easy-to-integrate ADSL module faced a problem; Chipset manufacturers cater to the mass market making proprietary developments for batches of a few thousand...

MoRoS with EnOcean-technique - connecting EnOcean devices via mobile radio
The mobile radio control center MoRoS EnOcean significantly reduces the workload for building services and maintenance engineers. It facilitates the transmission of alarm messages in case of accidentally opened emergency exits and the status monitoring of unnecessary permanent lighting and opened windows: all connected EnOcean sensors and actuators can now also be remote monitored by mobile phones, PCs or notebooks via mobile radio networks.
INSYS MICROELECTRONICS brings “plug and pay” to electric car charging as part of the influential e-mobility project.
Pull up to the station, plug in the car, recharge, pay and then be on your way: drivers of electric cars can now find it just as easy to fill up as owners of petrol-fuelled cars. This is made possible by INSYS MICROELECTRONICS, a technology partner of German electricity producer RWE for its “e-mobility” project.
Cost-optimized mobile radio router MLR from INSYS for remote data communication via GPRS and UMTS
INSYS MICROELECTRONICS introduces the MLR 2G/3G series of costoptimized mobile radio routers for large-scale project applications such as remote maintenance and control; metering; payment systems and environmental monitoring. Suitable for industrial environments, the mobile LAN routers combine the functions of a mobile radio modem, router and switch in one unit, connecting remote Ethernet LANs or single components to the internet via the mobile r...
