IMM Photonics takes over distribution of Iridian products
IMM Photonics has announced that it is taking over distribution of Iridian Spectral Technologies products. The Canadian company develops and produces optical filters for the wavelength range from 340 nm to 10μm, and, from the beginning of next year, also down to 15μm.
Laser diode QLF063D-60C0-GM for industrial sensors
The laser diode QLF063D-60C0-GM by the Japanese manufacturer QD Laser has been specially developed for use in sensors and for industrial laser-projection systems. In CW operation, the maximum output power amounts to 130 mW, in pulse operation up to 300 mW at 500ns pulse width and 50% duty cycle.
Laser diode module for machine vision solutions
In addition to cameras, the high-growth market of machine vision requires ever more complex forms of illumination, IMM Photonics has presented the laser diode module series ilumVISION as a solution for demanding illumination needs. The new laser diode module with homogeneous line can be applied, in particular, wherever the highest possible level of even illumination is called for.
IMM Photonics celebrates 25th anniversary
On the upcoming 25th anniversary of IMM Photonics, Friedrich Raith, the company's founder, released the following statement: "Since being founded in 1992, IMM Photonics has constantly kept pace with the increasingly complex needs of its customers. Along with sales of high‐quality standard components supplied by international partners, the development of sophisticated opto‐electronic systems has been a priority from the very beg...
Laser diode supplies an optical performance of up to 220mW
The trading portfolio of IMM Photonics has been expanded in the segment Fabry-Perot laser diodes to include a 830nm version by the Japanese manufacturer QD-Laser. The 830nm laser diode emits transversal waves in single mode, and supplies an optical performance of up to 220mW in continuous wave mode (cw). The beam angle is given as 9x18 degrees.
LEDs playing a key role in industrial applications
A new USB interface controlled LED illumination system has been introduced by IMM Photonics for curing of UV adhesives reproducibly with high intensity at a wavelength from 365nm to 440nm.
