IMI Precision Engineering has expanded its range of pressure sensing technology solutions with the introduction of two new electronic pressure sensor options, which include IO-Link connectivity. The new IMI Norgren 54D and 34D Electronic Pressure Sensors can be used to automatically monitor pressure levels in a pneumatic system, or be used for more complex monitoring functions in water, hydraulic or all fluid applications...

Fluid and motion control company, IMI Precision Engineering, has transformed its magnetically operated, solid state M/50 switch to include IO-Link capability. To enhance effective installation and improved connectivity, the new IMI Norgren M/50/IOP switch incorporates an orange LED indicator to allow for optimum installation relative to the cylinder magnet, with an additional green LED which acts as a ‘power on’ indicator.

IMI Precision Engineering has introduced a electromechanically actuated all-fluid pressure switch designated 21D, designed to monitor pressure levels in a variety of rail system applications. The 21D pressure switch makes or breaks electrical circuits based on input pressure thresholds.

Exhibiting for the first time since a major rebrand, IMI Precision Engineering (formerly Norgren) will be bringing its expertise in motion control and fluid technologies to Hannover Messe, held from  13th to 17th April.

From January 2015, all of IMI’s fluid power businesses, including the market leaders Norgren, will be brought under one new division: IMI Precision Engineering. Norgren’s range of products will become IMI Norgren, one of a portfolio of flagship product brands which also include IMI Buschjost, IMI FAS, IMI Maxseal and IMI Herion.
