B&R has selected the Hyperstone S8 Flash Memory Controller for their recently announced X90 mobile automation product line. The X90 family of products are designed for securing mobile control and I/O tasks in demanding environments experienced by industrial and mobile machines.

Hyperstone has released its latest hyMap firmware supporting the U8 and U9 - industrial USB flash memory controllers. Both controllers target industrial applications such as removable USB flash drives (UFD) and embedded USB flash modules (eUSB). Key benefits of Hyperstone's hyMap flash translation layer (FTL) and hyReliabilityT firmware are enhanced endurance, improved data retention management and rigorous power fail-safe features.

Hyperstone introduces its USB 3.1 Flash memory controller, U9. U9 is targeting industrial applications such as removable USB Flash drives (UFD) and embedded USB Flash modules (eUSB). Together with Hyperstone's hyMap Flash Translation Layer (FTL) and hyReliabilityT firmware features, U9 provides enhanced endurance and data retention management, as well as rigorous power fail-safe features.

  The S8 SD/MMC flash memory controller, launched by Hyperstone, is suited for applications such as SDHC, SDXC, SD (SecureDigital), smartSD, smart microSD, high speed and UHS-I memory cards as well as e•MMC MCP modules.
