To improve the quality of bespoke, low-volume parts for the motoring industry, UK provider of Stratasys, One-Click Metal and XJet 3D printing solutions, Tri-Tech 3D, recently supplied innovative engineering solutions provider, HPL, with a large-format stereolithography (SL) additive manufacturing (AM) system that can produce high-quality prototype parts with low variability.

Research conducted by used car specialists HPL Motors has found that many people are getting distracted by technology whilst behind the wheel. According to surveys conducted by the Manchester-based company, more than one in five people admitted to using a non-hands-free mobile phone to take a call or text whilst driving. A second survey also showed that more than one in 10 people had listened to music through headphones when driving.
