As compute demands grow to meet the insatiable appetite of AI applications, the 2024 cohort of HiPEAC Technology and Transfer Award winners will show how the community is transforming the latest research into solutions fit for intense computing requirements.

With technology evolving faster than humans can adapt, in a context of intensifying geopolitical and environmental pressures, there are six main races for technology leadership: the ‘next web’, artificial intelligence (AI), new kinds of hardware, cybersecurity, sovereignty and sustainability. 

Taking place in the technology hub of Toulouse, the 18th edition of the HiPEAC conference will take place on 16-18 January 2023.

A major new report authored by HiPEAC, the European Network on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation, states that the necessary shifts in the way we design, make and use computers in all their forms will amount to a total reinvention of computing.

The 12th HiPEAC conference will bring together Europe’s top thinkers on computer architecture and compilation to tackle the key issues facing the computing systems on which we depend, taking place in Stockholm from 23-25th January.
