Hectronic has a long history of developing maritime solutions and in the end of 2020, it won a big project with a Norwegian maritime company. Now it has signed a new deal within the same field, this time with a Swedish maritime company. The Swedish embedded company are to develop and update the customers product family of maritime computers.

Based on the 2nd gen AMD Embedded G-series SoC, two COM modules have been introduced by Hectronic. The H6071 (Qseven form factor) and H6068 (COM Express form factor) are suitable for embedded applications that require powerful CPU and graphics performance in combination with low power consumption and extremely compact size.

A COM Express board, designed to withstand challenging conditions, has been released by Hectronic. Based on the second generation AMD Embedded G-Series SOC, the H6066 features a type 6 COM Express pinout. The board, which measures 95x95mm, features a wide input voltage and is powered by a -4.75 to +20V input.

Hectronic has announced two COM Express modules based on the new Intel Atom Processor E3xxx, also called Bay Trail. H6824 is a COM Express Mini (84mmx55mm) form factor module with the pinout type 10. H6825 is a somewhat bigger COM Express Compact module (95mmx95mm) and the pinout is type 6.

Hectronic has announced an industrial operating temperature range (-40°C till +85°C) version of the existing product H6059, a CPU module based on AMD Embedded G-Series APUs. An APU is a combination of a low-power CPU and an advanced graphics processing unit integrated into a single embedded device.

Hectronic has announced the H6818, a Computer-on-Module in the COM Express Compact form factor and based on third generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors (also called Ivy Bridge) and the new Mobile Intel QM77 Express chipset.
