High-reliability connector maker Harwin, has extended its range of high reliability Datamate cable-to-board and cable-to-cable connectors with the addition of two- and three-contact male crimp devices. Datamate L-Tek single row connectors deliver extra design flexibility and are available with various latching options, including friction latch, locking latch and no latch.

Said to perform to the same high-reliability standards as conventional Datamate contacts, the Datamate Trio-Tek open barrel crimp contact, from high-reliability connector maker Harwin, automates the crimp process to significantly save on assembly time and reduce process costs. The new crimp design which features a latching feature simplifies the insertion of contacts into the housing.

Harwin has released the M402 series of surface mount, 0.5mm pitch connectors in male or female configuration.
