Connector housings protect against immersion in water

By introducing a new series of bulkhead hoods with significantly increased resistance to external influences including dust, dirt and liquids, HARTING has expanded its Han M range of industrial connector housings. The new bulkhead housings meet the requirements of IEC 60529 in protecting interior parts against strong water spray (IP66 degree of protection) and against temporary immersion in water to a depth of 1m (IP67 degree of protection).

Connector generates greater power density in rail vehicles

HARTING has designed a new Han 34 HPR EasyCon connector for high-current transmission with a high power density, making it suited to use in rail vehicles. Han 34 HPR housings and retaining frames are designed in such a way that, for the first time ever, a connector is now available that can accommodate four 650 A contacts alongside one another in a single interface.

Robust connectors designed for miniaturisation in the rail sector

Designed specifically to meet today’s requirements for miniaturisation in the rail sector, HARTING has introduced the new Han 16 HPR EasyCon, a robust industrial connector. The compact connector housing has been designed to accommodate up to four high-current contacts carrying up to 650A each, providing sufficient power for vehicle-mounted equipment such as compressors, single-wheel drives and ventilation systems.

HARTING shrinks connector to one third previous size

Robust RFID antenna improves train recognition

PushPull interface enables direct Ethernet transmission

A PushPull interface has been added to HARTING's M12 PCB angled D-coded connector, not only enabling direct Ethernet transmission from the cable to the printed circuit board but also leading to considerable savings in assembly time. The new M12 PushPull PCB connection comes in an angled D-coded female variant which facilitates the use of space-saving switches with Fast Ethernet communication at up to 100 Mbit/s.

Sensor actuator boxes speed up installation and save costs
