According to data and analytics company, GlobalData, people own more connected devices - whether that’s laptops, phones, or tablets - than ever in the UK.

Spend via smartphones will outperform spend via tablets, accounting for 51.5% of the UK mobile and tablet market in 2018, according to research and consulting firm GlobalData. The company’s latest report indicates sales of tablet devices are declining as consumers choose to spend more time on smartphones. Consequently, spend via these devices is set to grow 112% in the next five years.

The global High Voltage (HV) switchgear market is set to rise from $11.6bn in 2016 to just under $16bn in 2021, registering a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 6.4%, according to research and consulting firm GlobalData.
