GlobalConnect Group is the first colocation provider in Europe to offer the technology, submerged cooling to its customers, reducing datacentre power consumption for cooling by up to 90%. The next-GEN cooling technology was recently installed in GlobalConnect's data centre in Copenhagen and will be rolled out to all remaining datacentres based on customer demand.

GlobalConnect has reached an agreement with Telenor Sweden, to acquire communications operator Open Universe and Telenor Sweden’s SDU fiber assets.
