Manufacturer and distributor of advanced switching solutions, GIGAVAC, has announced the latest additions to its line of patented switching devices, the HX241 and HXNC241. These new hermetically sealed, HVDC contactors offer both normally open, HX241, and normally closed, HXNC241, versions. Both models have UL and IEC approval for operating at 1,500VDC.

This hermitically sealed, HVDC contactor redefines the term high power switching by bringing massive power switching capabilities in a compact package. The HBD series of manual service disconnect switches incorporate new patent pending technology to deliver unprecedented protection from hostile environments. Expanding their line-up of advanced switching solutions, GIGAVAC has introduced the GX110 SPST-NO (Single Pole Single Throw – Normally Open) contactor. Rated for continuous duty up to 1,000A, the contactor is suited for applications where both high voltages and high currents need to be controlled with the certainty of galvanic isolation.

GIGAVAC has expanded their Advanced Switching Solutions portfolio with the industry's smallest UL508 recognized contactor for high current switching at 1000Vdc. Meeting and exceeding the requirements of IP67 and IP69 sealing, the RoHS-compliant HX22 was developed for use in solar combiner boxes and inverters.

The G24WF, a 20kV Double Pole Double Throw relay, announced by GIGAVAC. The G24WF features tungsten-molybdenum contacts with a unique gas mixture that makes it ideal as a relay for switching in high voltage loads. Make only load switching is primarily found in circuits discharging a capacitor or safety for interlocks. GIGAVAC also offers specialized testing for applications such as ESD loads where consistently repeatable output is required.

GIGAVAC announces the first product in a new line of patent pending switching devices: the P105 MiniTactor. It is small, lightweight and cost effective. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the hermetically sealed GIGAVAC P105 joins GIGAVAC’s line-up of other sealed switching products including High Voltage Relays and EPIC sealed contactors.

GIGAVAC announced today the GX16—a new, low cost 600 Amp Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) normally open sealed contactor just 3.0 inches (76 mm) tall and weighing 1.9 pounds (0 .9 Kg). The GX16 further expands GIGAVAC’s line of EPIC sealed contactors - rated from 20 Amp to 600 Amp continuous duty - that can switch both DC and AC voltages up to 750 Volts and is RoHS compliant.
