Galvion helmet system chosen as protection for German Specialised Forces

Galvion has announced that a customised Baltskin Viper helmet solution has been chosen as the next Specialised Forces Helmet (Helm SpezKr schwer; Specialised Forces are Ranger-type units of the German Army). The program was awarded to Rheinmetall Soldier Electronics, who will act as the in-country contracting entity for the Galvion helmet, following a full and open competition.

Symbasys SWitchPack i6T Li-ion vehicle battery

Galvion has entered Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) with their Symbasys SWitchPack i6T Li-ion vehicle battery. LRIP has commenced following a series of successful tests to validate compliance with the international standards for military batteries and to prove the system fully safe and ready for installation and use in military vehicles.

Galvion appoints Dan Dailey as a strategic consultant

Galvion has announced the recent appointment of Sergeant Major of the Army (SMA) Daniel A. Dailey, US Army retired, as a strategic consultant to the Galvion team. Dailey, is a native of Palmerton, Pennsylvania.

Helmet contract signed with Danish Ministry of Defence

Galvion has signed a new contract to supply the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO), with a suite of helmet systems. Awarded following a full and open competition, the 7-year contract is worth approximately $23.5m.

Galvion signs contract with Chamois

Galvion, an international designer, manufacturer and supplier of survivability and power management systems to the global defense and security sector, has signed a contract with the UK-based marketing and communications agency, Chamois Consulting.
