Partnership enhances camera and embedded vision portfolio
Global supplier of imaging products, custom imaging solutions and OEM services, the FRAMOS Group, has announced that it has been appointed by the Italian Tattile Group as a global partner for Industrial cameras and Machine Vision controllers. Under this agreement, FRAMOS will offer the entire Tattile portfolio to its global network of imaging clients, OEMs and system integrators.

Open eVision software improves OCR
Euresys has recently released the new version of its image analysis software tool. Open eVision 2.0 introduces the new EasyOCR2 library and features an easier licensing system without the need for future upgrades. All Euresys products and software are available from imaging expert FRAMOS. Optical character recognition (OCR) is an important task for vision software supporting the automation of production processes using imaging technology.
Pixel technology in SONY IMX385 doubles low light sensitivity
SONY’s 1/2" IMX385 sensor with two megapixels delivers high image quality even in low light conditions. Using their super high conversion gain technology, Sony has doubled the sensitivity compared to the IMX185. Available from the image processing specialist, FRAMOS, it boasts, together with its excellent SNR1s value, the best performance among Sony's Full HD sensors for industrial and safety applications.
High-resolution lens from Computar for 1.1” sensors

Highlights from FRAMOS Image Sensor Tech Days
A team of Japanese developers working at Sony were a major highlight for the participants attending the event in Munich. Sony is the largest producer of sensors and held many events including a live presentation of its latest sensor models from the third CMOS generation which gave end customers an opportunity to take part in a live Q&A session and pose their questions to the experts on hand.
USB3 board camera offers high level of light sensitivity
With a resolution of 5MP and USB 3.0 Vision interface, Videology has launched its new camera module 24B5.0XUSB3. The module is the first in a series of cameras designed to work with the image processing firmware developed in-house by Videology. OEMs and developers can incorporate individual IPs on the FPGA or use customer-specific adaptations. The compact board camera is available from FRAMOS.
