Asia-Pacific presence strengthened with two cable landing stations
Swedish internet infrastructure specialist Flexenclosure has received an order from Vanuatu-based telecommunications group Interchange for two eCentre cable landing stations, to be deployed in Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands early next year. In the past 18 months, Flexenclosure has received orders in no less than five different Pacific island nations.
Flexenclosure to deliver eCentre solution to second customer in Australia
Flexenclosure has received a new Australian order for its eCentre data centre solution. This will be Flexenclosure’s second project in the Australian market, following its landmark win with Virtutel in December. The new eCentre will be used to quickly enable connectivity related colocation services and will be a long term part of the overall project.

New eCentre data centre in Ecuador
The construction has been completed by Flexenclosure of a data centre for global communications IT provider CenturyLink in Ecuador. Located in Quito, CenturyLink will use the facility to expand its data and cloud services portfolio for existing and new business customers.
eCentre cable landing station to be constructed in Fiji
Within the context of the Fijian Government’s commitment to make high speed Internet services available on Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second largest island, Fiji has commissioned Flexenclosure for the construction of an eCentre cable landing station in Savusavu. The cable will connect to the Tui-Samoa undersea cable, providing a high-capacity and high-availability fibre optic link between Viti Levu, Fiji’s main island, and Vanua Levu.

Second deployment of eSite hybrid power systems in Morocco
Flexenclosure has completed the deployment of a second set of its eSite hybrid power systems in Morocco. The eSites were manufactured at Flexenclosure’s factory in Sweden and installed at telecom sites across Morocco where they are now fully operational. The energy efficient eSite hybrid power system has been specifically designed for base station sites in areas where grid power is unreliable or unavailable.
Flexenclosure builds eCentre data centre for TigoUne in Colombia
Flexenclosure has completed the construction of a data centre in Bogotá for Colombian telecommunications company TigoUne. This is the third eCentre order from a Millicom group company and it consolidates Flexenclosure’s position in the Latin American market. Flexenclosure entered Latin America in 2016 when it constructed a data centre for Millicom’s Tigo Business Paraguay.

Gabon to roll out major hybrid power system with Flexenclosure
