Farnell has reached an agreement with interconnect product manufacturer Samtec to increase the number of the company’s products it offers from 12,000 to 62,000. This significant increase in the connector product portfolio will enable Farnell to support customer applications in an even wider and more diverse range of applications.

Farnell is continuing to respond to the growing European demand for new designs in small enclosures by extending its range of die-cast aluminium enclosures from Hammond Manufacturing. The additions to the range are from Hammond’s rugged1590 series and are available in a choice of vibrant colours or a natural finish.
