As a specialist for selective soldering automation, Eutect GmbH has all selective soldering processes for the production of electronic assemblies at its disposal and makes them available to its customers in the field of contract soldering.

Selective soldering of assemblies on panels is generally straightforward, but when working with large panels containing tall components, the task becomes more complex.

Eutect presents a line production concept – E-CELLS automation cells – which offer flexibility, dynamics and sustainability. This is chiefly due to the technology's ability to transport each product independently through the individual process stations and cells, with the ability to take over the axis and robot handling systems that are necessary in many industrial processes.

In order to be able to offer even higher precision and modularity, Eutect has developed a scalable standard cell with the automation specialist Taktomat.

To simplify maintenance and servicing of wave soldering modules, Eutect has announced that it offers a versatile service cart designed for use directly on the machine. Each service cart is tailored to specific customer modules.

The assembly and connection technology using enamelled copper wire technology is a core process, especially for future mobility requirements.

To meet society's increasing need for mobility and energy, new battery cell concepts and designs are constantly being developed.

A soldering system for fully automatic piston soldering will be presented by Eutect at productronica 2019 in Munich (November 12-15). This enables the integration of soldering irons from various suppliers. This soldering system is available with an automatic tip changer and an optional kinematic system.

Beginning in autumn 2019, Eutect will equip all machines and modules with QR codes, allowing direct online access to the user manuals. Consequently, the fact that user manuals cannot be found will be a thing of the past. This also optimises the distribution of updated manuals to customers.

EUTECT will be exhibiting at the shared booth of the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster at productronica in Munich. "For us productronica is among the most important in the calendar year," explains Matthias Fehrenbach (pictured), CEO of EUTECT.

In 2008, family company Eutect took the first step into robotic automation. A flexible, efficient, rapid soldering process is on the investment list at many electronics manufacturers, which is why the demand for fully automatic robotic soldering systems is increasing for mini-wave soldering.

Packing densities increase on ever smaller electronic assemblies due to technical requirements and possibilities. Accordingly, the requirements imposed on soldering these components become all the more stringent because, for instance, sensitive components have to be protected from great heat effects. Pinpoint-accurate, fast, and definable soldering is necessary. Therefore, EUTECT has been using diode lasers for its customised soldering systems.
