ETSI blockchain group releases reports targeting industry bodies

The ETSI Industry Specification Group on Permissioned Distributed Ledger (ISG PDL) has recently released a number of reports to support industry and government institutions needs for what is commonly known as blockchain. These Reports cover data record compliance to regulation, application scenarios and smart contracts.

Report paves the way for first world standards in securing AI

The ETSI Securing Artificial Intelligence Industry Specification Group (SAI ISG) last month released its first Group Report, ETSI GR SAI 004, which gives an overview of the problem statement regarding the securing of AI. ETSI SAI is the first standardisation initiative dedicated to securing AI.

ETSI launches DECT-2020 new radio interface for IoT

Developed by ETSI in the 90’s, the DECT standard (Digital enhanced cordless telecommunications) is implemented in more than a billion short-range communication devices around the world. The technology is now taking a giant step forward with a new set of DECT-2020 New Radio (NR) standards: the ETSI TS 103 636 series defines an advanced radio interface applying modern radio technologies.

ETSI releases consumer IoT security standard

The ETSI Technical Committee on Cybersecurity (TC CYBER) has unveiled the ETSI EN 303 645 IoT security standard that establishes a security baseline for internet connected consumer products and provides a basis for future IoT certification schemes.

ETSI launches AR framework for a multi-vendor ecosystem

The ETSI Industry Specification Group on the AR Framework (ISG ARF) has launched ETSI GS ARF 003, a key specification towards the interoperability of AR components. Today industrial and end users tend to frequently depend on a single provider to deploy AR applications and services.
