The eSync Alliance announces that DSA, a global supplier of life-cycle management solutions for automotive electronics, has joined the Alliance. The eSync Alliance is spearheading the development of end-to-end over-the-air (OTA) updating and data services, enabling bi-directional communications with all electronic devices in the vehicle.

The eSync Alliance, an open consortium dedicated to standardising an OTA and diagnostic data gathering platform, has announced that it has formally joined the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) as an Associate Member.

  The eSync Alliance has announced that Mobica, a global software services company, has joined to become one of its newest members. Companies in the eSync Alliance include Alpine, Excelfore, HELLA, Molex and ZF, amongst others.

The release of Version 1.0 of the eSync Compliance Specifications, has been released by eSync Alliance. The specifications define compliance with the eSync platform, a bi-directional data pipeline for over-the-air (OTA) updates and diagnostics data in the automotive electronics space.
