45 years of DISPLAY VISIONS
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria has congratulated DISPLAY VISIONS on 45 years of existence, ceremonially presenting the Gilching-based company with a certificate.
High-contrast OLED with USB interface
Especially for small monitoring and control tasks, the display specialist ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY has developed a graphic OLED display with touch-sensitive front made of real glass. The brand new EA PLUGS102-6 is not only a display, but also a full control unit featuring a wide range of interfaces.
Compact displays for quick assembly
Featuring external dimensions of just 40x20mm, the EA DIPS082 fits into 19" rack systems with one height unit (1U). For efficiency in assembly, the compact EA DIPS082 dot matrix panel including pins with a grid of 2.54mm is soldered directly into the circuit board or plugged into a socket.
OLED-display with USB at embedded world
For the first time, ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY will present the EA PLUGL128, a touch-sensitive OLED display that can be addressed directly via USB. It offers a resolution of 128x64px with a 2.9" screen diagonal. Since OLED technology enables each pixel to act as an independent light source, there is no angle-dependent contrast attenuation as is the case with LCD displays.
OLED displays with pins for fast mounting
It has been announced that Electronic Assembly has developed a complete range of OLED displays with pins for plug in mounting. The high contrast OLED displays also feature an extremely flat design, robust construction, and a long service life.
Display module features different LED backlight options
The displays of the DOG family of Electronic Assembly are characterised by a number of different features: they are compact and consume low energy. Electronic Assembly has now expanded this family of products with multi-coloured lighting. The signal colours can be mixed and changed.
Compact OLED displays break new ground in their range of uses
With a wide range of compact OLED displays, ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY has paved the way for new fields of use. The monochromatic display elements now come in a variety of designs featuring different sizes, profiles, resolutions and colours to suit various uses - even where it has not been possible to integrate a screen until now.
Electronic Assembly expands EA uniTFT display modules
Just a few months after ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY launched its EA uniTFT product family, it is already being expanded with the presentation of a new display variant with a diagonal screen measurement of 10.1 inches at embedded world in Nuremberg. Developed in-house, the new intelligent display modules with object graphics open up a wealth of new options for the user.
Versatile OLED display is readable at -40°C
With their high contrast and wide viewing angle, OLED displays offer great readability. In its EA OLEDL128-6 product family, ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY now has a display module in its portfolio that offers all these advantages. But there's even more to it than that: it has a life of over 50,000 hours of operation. Another selling point is the rapid response time of this display, which loses nothing of its snap even at arctic temperatures as low as -40&d...
OLED instrumentation display suitable for harsh environments
Despite the onward march of digital technology, analogue dials are still easiest to read. The W128128-XRxx family of OLED displays from ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY (EA) are suitable for visualising measurement and control data. The built-in SSD1327ZB graphic controller can also place other content on the screen, for example icons and symbols.
Augmented reality brings display to life
An augmented reality app from Electronic Assembly enlivens the uniTFT display module, with the means to display in-depth information.
New display modules allow easy zooming
Using the intelligent display modules in the EA uniTFT product family from Electronic Assembly, tasks such as modifying, rotating, grouping and zooming in on objects on the screen are easy. Design engineers and systems integrators benefit from considerably shorter development times and gain significantly more flexibility.
Easily programmable graphic display
“A picture is worth a thousand words”. To an increasing extent, development teams are taking this truism on board. They are designing in graphic displays rather than alphanumeric panels to show machine state information and instrumentation data. Text and graphics can easily be displayed together on the same screen.
66mm wide display can handle loads of information
Electronic Assembly's EA DOGM204-A alphanumeric displays use Supertwist LCD technology to produce a high-contrast display that is only 66mm wide. The display offers a font size of 4.8 mm and supports four lines of text with up to 20 characters per line.
WiFi data loggers monitor events 24/7
A range of highly effective WiFi data loggers has been added to its extensive instrumentation product portfolio by Electronic Assembly. The temperature and humidity sensors are manufactured to exacting standards by Corintech, and they are suitable for uninterrupted 24/7 monitoring in sensitive environments.
6H graphic display is scratch resistant
A graphic display, the eDIPTFT70-ATC from Electronic Assembly, has been released. The TFT touch panel display features an extensive set of intelligent display functions, making it suitable for MCU system architectures. Other features include a bright, high-contrast screen and an attactive appearance.
Alphanumeric display operates from -40 to +80°C
An alphanumeric display with the advantage of high contrast for good visibility combined with low energy consumption has been released by Electronic Assembly. The EA W202 XDLG also features an onboard controller which supports user-friendly connectivity options, and operates over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for automotive applications.
Data logger measures, stores, communicates via WLAN
The high-precision EA WLAN-T+ temperature data logger from Electronic Assembly measures and stores temperature data and sends the readings in over a wireless, encrypted WiFi link to a PC which is connected to the network. If the wireless connection is lost or the PC is shut down, the data logger stores measurement data for several weeks. The temperature readings are always shown on the built-in display.
Electrophoretic display suits mobile applications
An electrophoretic active matrix display, which is claimed to drastically reduce time-to-market, has been released by Electronic Assembly. The EA ELABEL20 A ePaper, offered with built-in intelligence, has a diagonal size of 2". Alongside a large number of graphic functions, the device features eight built-in fonts. Users can also upload additional fonts.
4.3" display features capacitive & resistive touch
Displays are used for status output and command entry on today’s state-of-the-art machinery, equipment and industrial systems, with a suitable touch panel providing the necessary functionality. Electronic Assembly's intelligent EA eDIPTFT43-A TFT graphic display with capacitive touch panel combines an elegant appearance with usability whether or not the user is wearing gloves.
